In the first presentation, we will explore the European Union's RoHS directive limits on specific hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). Compliance with RoHS regulations, especially in testing complex materials, such as plastics, poses challenges for manufacturers, importers, and distributors. ICP-OES provides a robust solution for RoHS compliance testing in terms of measurement of Cd, Cr, Pb, and Hg. The presentation highlights the detailed sample preparation and precise element analysis by ICP-OES, featuring Intelligent Rinse technology.
In the second presentation, we will go on to explore solid-state batteries as an emerging battery technology that uses a solid superionic electrolyte material instead of traditional liquid-phase electrolytes.
