Chris Lock is the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Global Research and Development at SCIEX. Chris oversees software and hardware research and development for LCMS and CE. With over 20 years at SCIEX, he has held technical and leadership roles of increasing responsibility, collaborating closely with product and market management teams and fostering strong cross-company partnerships. He previously served as Vice President of LCMS R&D. Before joining SCIEX, Chris was a Research Scientist at the Institute for Marine Biosciences, National Research Council Canada in Halifax. He holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Translational Energy Spectrometry from the University of Wales, Swansea, UK.
