Jarrold is a distinguished chemistry professor at Indiana University and CEO of Megadalton Solutions. Jarrold is a pioneering scientist recognized for revolutionizing charge detection mass spectrometry (CDMS). With a PhD from the University of Warwick and a career spanning roles at AT&T Bell Laboratories and Northwestern University, Jarrold has focused on advancing mass spectrometry techniques to analyze complex, high-mass systems. Widely recognized through numerous awards, including the John B. Fenn Award for Distinguished Contributions in Mass Spectrometry, Jarrold’s research has fundamentally reshaped how large biomolecular assemblies are measured and understood. |
![]() | Benjamin Clarke, PhD Principal Scientist, US Pharmacopia Ben Clarke develops USP physical reference standards for biologics and ensures their consistent quality and suitability for use. It is his pleasure to work with laboratories across the world to rigorously test USP reference standards and develop new compendial methods. He is the scientific lead for USP’s cell and gene therapy expert volunteers, who are partners in developing standards and quality solutions for advanced therapies. He received his PhD in cell biology from Cornell University and his BS in biochemistry from the Pennsylvania State University. |
![]() | Rebecca D'Esposito, PhD Senior Scientist, Waters Corporation Rebecca D'Esposito, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Waters Corporation, where her main area of research is developing cutting-edge applications of Waters CDMS technology. Her current focus includes advancing analytical workflows for gene therapy vectors and other complex biomolecules. Rebecca holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University at Albany, where she explored the structural dynamics of large nucleic acids through ion mobility mass spectrometry and computational modelling. She began her scientific journey with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science Technology from Alfred State College. |
