Bruker has launched MyGenius PRO®, a fully automated sample-to-answer molecular diagnostics system based on PCR technology at ESCMID Global 2026 in Munich, Germany. The new platform targets infectious disease diagnostics and supports higher throughput, continuous loading of samples, consumables, and reagents, plus random-access operation.
Bruker positions MyGenius PRO® as a higher-throughput addition to its molecular diagnostics portfolio. The company states that, like the medium-throughput BeGenius® system, the new platform automates the full workflow from patient sample to diagnostic result. Bruker links that design to stronger laboratory efficiency and support for higher-volume testing needs.
At launch, the MyGenius PRO® IVDR menu includes assays for cytomegalovirus from whole blood, Epstein-Barr virus from whole blood, and BK virus from urine. Bruker states that these assays support diagnostic testing in immunocompromised patients. The company also plans to expand the menu throughout 2026 with IVDR assays for HIV-1, hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and human herpesvirus 6, along with additional sample matrices.

Bruker developed the platform in collaboration with ELITechGroup, a Bruker company, and Hitachi High-Tech. The companies' combined expertise in molecular assays, automation, and engineering. Hitachi High-Tech will introduce the platform in Japan under the tradename LABOSPECT GA-5, together with Bruker molecular diagnostic assays for infectious disease testing in line with Japanese diagnostic regulations.

Bruker states that the launch marks a new chapter in its Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics molecular diagnostics strategy. The company notes that MyGenius PRO® expands a portfolio that already includes InGenius®, BeGenius®, a growing CE-IVD assay menu, and LiquidArray® assays for multiplexing and syndromic panel testing.
