Eppendorf announced a collaboration with Dubai Police to advance the scientific capabilities of the city’s justice system. Under the agreement, Dubai Police will integrate Eppendorf’s automated laboratory platforms into forensic workflows to support faster crime detection and the delivery of conclusive evidence to judicial authorities.
The collaboration includes deployment of automated liquid handling platforms, including the Eppendorf epMotion® 5075t and 5073t NGS Solutions. Eppendorf will also deliver specialized training programs to ensure seamless implementation and integration with existing instrumentation. The initiative targets high-precision forensic analysis grounded in data processing, with an emphasis on smooth and sustainable workflows.
By implementing automated systems, the partnership aims to reduce requirements for human intervention while accelerating processing times, analytical capacity, and accuracy. These changes support more efficient criminal identification and optimize judicial processes across Dubai’s forensic operations.
