Evosep Launches Proteomics Ecosystem to Standardize LC-MS Workflows

Evosep has launched Evosep Proteomics, an ecosystem designed to standardize and scale LC-MS-based proteomics for research and pharmaceutical drug development. The company introduced the platform at ASMS 2026 in San Diego on June 1, 2026.

Evosep Proteomics brings together Evokit™ sample preparation kits, the Evosep™ Lupo™ Sample Preparation System, Evotips, Evosep One, and Evosep Eno™ in a unified sample-to-separation platform. The ecosystem aims to support reproducibility, scalability, and AI-ready proteomic insights by standardizing workflows from sample preparation through LC separation.

The launch extends Evosep’s LC separation focus upstream into sample preparation. According to the company, fragmented workflows, manual variability, and inconsistent methods can limit scale and reproducibility in proteomics, slowing the translation of proteomic insights into scientific and therapeutic impact.

“To fully realize AI-driven drug development, LC-MS-based proteomics must become standardized. Our users have been asking for scalable proteomics, not only as a reliable analytical tool, but as an AI-ready data foundation for the next generation of drug discovery and development,” explains Morten Bern, CEO of Evosep.

Evosep positions the platform for pharmaceutical R&D applications including target discovery, biomarker identification, AI-driven decision-making, New Approach Methodologies, and Minimal Residual Disease applications. The company notes that consistent sample-to-separation workflows can support detection of subtle protein signatures over time, helping longitudinal monitoring and treatment response assessment in translational and clinical studies.

The Evosep Lupo platform minimizes manual steps, reduces variability, and eliminates protocol drift to support consistent sample inputs. Evokit sample preparation kits add traceability and reproducible performance, delivering MS-ready samples on Evotips. Integration with Evosep One and Evosep Eno supports scalable proteomics workflows for multi-site pharmaceutical environments.

At launch, Evosep Proteomics includes Evokit Digest and Evokit QC kits. Built-in quality controls, consumable tracking, and workflow traceability support long-term studies, regulated environments, and translational research.

Evosep reports that Evosep Proteomics delivers scalable, unbiased proteomics at a target cost of approximately $10 per sample. The company aims to make high-quality, reproducible proteomics accessible for routine use in research, biomarker discovery, and large-scale drug development.
