HighRes and Cenevo Partner to Advance Agentic Connected Labs

HighRes and Cenevo team up to shape the agentic connected lab, enhancing sample management and orchestration in life sciences.

HighRes and Cenevo have announced a co-marketing partnership focused on accelerating adoption of connected, AI-ready laboratory infrastructure across the life science industry.

The partnership brings together HighRes’ Cellario OS orchestration platform and Cenevo’s Mosaic sample management software. The integrated Cellario OS and Mosaic platforms already support 5 of the world’s top 10 pharmaceutical companies.

The companies aim to help laboratories coordinate complex workflows across instruments, applications, and data systems with greater reliability and traceability. Modern life science laboratories manage complex samples across dozens of instruments and software systems from different vendors. Each handover can create risk through manual transcription errors, broken data trails, and compliance gaps.

Together, Cellario OS and Mosaic create a connected layer across instruments and data. The companies describe this as a foundation that can make agentic AI in the lab practical and safe.

Mosaic’s Machine Fulfillment module communicates with Cellario OS before a run begins. It passes order parameters, input and output labware, and transfer specifications upfront. Cellario then orchestrates execution across instruments, from standalone liquid handlers to modular Nucleus systems. It tracks transfers in real time and feeds results back to Mosaic for traceability.

The integrated solution delivers upfront transfer data, real-time tracking, hardware-agnostic execution, automated Cellario template selection, sample tracking, transfer logging, and instrument data flow back to Mosaic for regulatory record-keeping. Its loosely coupled architecture also supports emerging capabilities, including agentic interfaces such as the Cellario Lab Assistant communicating with Mosaic via MCP.

HighRes and Cenevo share a focus on laboratories that combine automation with connected data infrastructure. Cenevo’s Mosaic manages samples, workflows, inventory, and compliance across more than 150 device and system integrations. HighRes’ Cellario OS provides instrument orchestration for high-throughput automation at scale.
