A compendial method for sugar profile analysis for food and pet / animal feeds. HPAEC-PAD is discussed as a method that intends to meet these needs

Sugar profile analysis is not a new topic in the field of analytical chemistry. It has been around for many years and has been accomplished within many different sample matrices with varying instrumentation and methodology.

High performance anion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD) is becoming more common in laboratories for sugar profile analysis due to the benefits it provides in comparison to the traditional methodologies. However, compendial methods have not kept up with current trends in this field. An updated compendial method for sugar profile analysis is needed for the areas of food and pet and animal feeds.

Register for this webinar and you'll learn:

  • All about HPAEC-PAD and its benefits
  • Method development to meet the requirement for a compendial method in food and pet/animal feeds
  • About the techniques and steps within the method and why they’re used
